A serene, traditionally styled landscape depicting a white church nestled among trees with a clear blue-sky background. This piece evokes a sense of peace, winter in a rural setting, featuring a high-contrast color palette of white, green/white and blue
A small propeller plane banks low over a misty green valley, a dirt road curving up to meet it. Soft, atmospheric watercolor with a real sense of place and quiet. Framed and ready to hang. 6” x 8”.
Artist’s Note: A stunning approach of an ATR 42-600, in what seems to be arriving a gusty tropic coastal airport. This is an original painting with no specific location, although I’d like to note I see it as being Hawaii around 11:00 am.
A one-of-a-kind, hand-thrown mug wrapped in a soft seafoam glaze that drips and pools like morning mist over the clay. No two are ever alike, and the warm speckled handle is made to be held. Your new favorite coffee lives here. 4” tall.
Monarch Healthcare’s Creative Arts Programs
Monarch Healthcare’s day programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities emphasize choice and provide activities which support independence and emotional and physical well-being. Program participants have the opportunity to socialize and engage in the local community through volunteering, supported employment, recreation and exercise, participation in community events and more.
The programs listed here also have a focus on the creative arts and encourage program participants who are interested in the arts to explore painting, drawing, jewelry making and other forms of creative expression.
These programs have on-site galleries to allow you to preview artwork and shop on site, Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
